Many Gifts, One Call in our Journey of Faith
Inspired by the 50th anniversary theme; Many Gifts, One Call in our
Journey of Faith, Paolo Rinaldi a parishioner of OLQW and a grade
11 student from St. Teresa of Lisieux Catholic High School, set out
to create and design a logo that would reflect the true meaning of
the anniversary theme. Winner of the logo contest, Paolo explains
how his design incorporates the following elements:
 |
A Cross to represent
Christ our Lord; |
 |
A Dove to symbolize the Gifts
of the Holy Spirit and Peace; |
 |
Hands to show that we are all
called to be Servants of God; |
 |
A Crown to show that Mother Mary
is always watching over us; |
 |
Yellow Rays to represent the
Light of Christ that guides us on our journey of
faith; |
 |
Red Rays to represent the Blood
of Christ and remind us that Jesus died so that our sins
may by forgiven; |
 |
The Circle to represent the world
united in Our Lady Queen of the World. |
