Join us for a solemn and meaningful observance of Ash Wednesday at Our Lady Queen of the World parish! We’ll be holding two services on Wednesday, February 22, at 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, in the church. Come and receive the ashes, a symbol of our penitence and need for spiritual renewal.

Our Ash Wednesday services offer a time of prayer, reflection, and repentance, as we begin our journey through the season of Lent. We invite you to join us, whether you’re a regular parishioner or new to our community.

The services at 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM offer an opportunity to start your day with prayer and reflection or to end your day with solemn contemplation. We hope you’ll take advantage of these services to begin your Lenten season in a spirit of humility and penitence.

Are you struggling to forgive someone who has hurt you? Do you want to deepen your understanding of forgiveness and its importance in our lives as Christians? Our Lady Queen of the World parish is excited to offer a special Lenten retreat on forgiveness, taking place on March 13, 14, and 15 at 7:30 pm in the church.

This retreat is an opportunity to explore the powerful role of forgiveness in our spiritual lives, and to learn how we can grow in our ability to forgive others as Christ has forgiven us. Each evening will include a talk on forgiveness, personal reflection, and an opportunity for communal prayer.

Our guest speaker will guide us through the themes of forgiveness and offer insights on how we can embrace forgiveness in our lives. Whether you’re a longtime parishioner or new to our community, we invite you to join us for this special Lenten retreat on forgiveness.

Please spread the word and invite your friends and family to join us for the Lenten retreat on forgiveness at Our Lady Queen of the World parish. This is an opportunity to grow in our faith and learn how to extend the love and mercy of Christ to those around us. We look forward to sharing this enriching experience with you!

Join us in supporting our community this Lenten season by participating in Our Lady Queen of the World’s annual Lenten Food Drive! From now until Easter Sunday, we’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the Richmond Hill Food Bank that help those in need.

Donating to the food drive is a simple yet impactful way to live out the spirit of Lent, by giving to those who may be struggling with food insecurity. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.

To participate, simply drop off your non-perishable food items at the parish office during regular business hours, or bring them to any of our Masses. Let’s come together as a community to make a positive impact and share the blessings of this season with others.
